As we wrap up our final year at the Training Academy under its current funding model, we are excited to transition and expand our program across three new program models.

Youth Career Catalyst

Modelled after the Training Academy's Foundations and Essentials programs, outdoor organizations and groups looking to upskill their teams can customize the modules into workshops to address specific group needs. This includes certifications, fundamental outdoor skill development and learnings such as non-violent communication, trauma-informed leadership and more.

Looking Ahead at 2025

Forest Pathways Academy

This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario, and will provide free training that introduces individuals to the skills, knowledge, and certifications needed to secure entry-level jobs, pursue apprenticeships, and make informed decisions about post-secondary education.

Foundations & Essentials Group Model

Modelled after the inaugural Training Academy's Foundations and Essentials programs, this fee-for-serivce model will be tailored towards groups looking to upskill their teams. Highly customizable to address specific group needs, these programs will include both a Centre-based and Outdoor Journey similar to the original Training Academy.
