Welcome to the Compass newsletter. Our theme for this issue is "More Relevant Than Ever," and we couldn't think of a more fitting reflection of the incredible work that our global Outward Bound community continues to accomplish.
In a world that is constantly evolving and presenting new challenges, the importance of the Outward Bound ethos and mission becomes increasingly evident. Our commitment to providing transformative outdoor experiences and fostering personal growth has never been more relevant. Through our programs, we empower individuals to discover their inner strength, build resilience, and develop the essential skills needed to navigate a rapidly changing global landscape.
Over the past few months, Outward Bound Schools across the globe have been brimming with activity. From inspiring expeditions to innovative programs that bridge cultures and promote diversity, our instructors and staff have demonstrated unwavering dedication. Together, we have served as catalysts for change, fostering connections between people from different backgrounds and instilling a sense of empathy and understanding.
This issue will explore our continued RELEVANCE, starting with our newly launched Global Impact Report and then sharing impact from regions around the globe. As always, this issue of Compass profiles an Outward Bound School. OB Canada, one of the more established Schools in the network, has continued to innovate in order to remain relevant and responsive and we share with you some of their new initiatives. We will also provide you with updates on Strategic projects and information about meetings and events to look forward to.
